The Mobile Arts location solution enables rapid and accurate location of mobile phones. It supports all GSM and UMTS networks, including multi-vendor networks, as well as CDMA networks. Together with global and local Content and Application Partners, Mobile Arts can provide turn-key locations solutions, consisting of both location server and middleware technology, as well as 3rd party location-enabled applications/content.
- The Mobile Arts Advanced Mobile Location Centre (A-MLC) supports a range of different location technologies, such as enhanced cell-identity and A-GPS based location. The A-MLC supports both network-based, terminal-based, probe-based and hybrid location methods.
- The Mobile Arts Mobile Location Proxy (MPX) allows Network Operators to provide a single point of contact for messaging applications. It allows for inclusion of location information in messages bound for applications and for mobile location on demand from the applications. Full support for anonymous address generation and translation allows for the unrestricted use of 3rd party applications by end-users without privacy concerns.
