MMS Proxy (MMSP)

The Mobile Arts MMS Proxy supports interception, processing and routing of MMS messages. It can be used as a pure router to route MMS messages between legacy MMSCs, and/or as a proxy between multiple legacy MMSCs and 3rd party applications. In addition, Mobile Arts provides a suite of embedded MMS Applications.

The MMS Proxy features include:

• Mobile Originating (MO) message handling: the MMS Proxy fully supports intercept, processing and onward routing of MO MMS messages, as well as flexible invocation of originating MMS applications.
  
  
• Mobile Terminating (MT) message handling: the MMS Proxy fully supports intercept, processing and onward routing of MT MMS messages, as well as flexible invocation of terminating MMS applications.
  
  
• Application Originating and Terminating (AO/AT) message handling: the MMS Proxy supports both-way communication with large accounts (clients) using open APIs. Large accounts are easiliy created and can be tailored with respect to principles for addressing, routing, charging, accounting, and client load control.
  
  
• Determination of destination legacy MMSC by means of number portability query and/or database look-up

MMS Applications

The Mobile Arts MMS Application suite includes an extensive set of powerful applications such as:

• MT MMS forwarding/copy to another mobile
  
  
• MO and MT MMS forwarding/copy to e-mail
  
  
• MT MMS copy to multiple destinations, e.g. for multi-SIM solutions
  
  
• MMS auto-reply, e.g. for automatic sending of "out-of-office" SMS/MMS notifications
  
  
• End-user controlled MT MMS screening, with origination address filtering
  
  
• Operator and end-user managed MMS SPAM Control, for message content based SPAM detection
